Sligo really is an exciting place to be. There always seems to be something going on. Sligo has become a destination for attracting music enthusiasts not only nationwide, but worldwide. The Fleadh Cheoil kicks off this Sunday 9th August and we have Sligo Live to look forward to in October. This weekend we’re enjoying Sligo Summer Festival at our doorstep.
Here’s what I wore for an evening stroll to soak up the atmosphere. I met up with the lads for a casual bite at new sushi restaurant Miso, which is perfectly located beside the main stage. Can you believe it stayed dry? It was a lovely summer’s evening. Beside local artist’s Friz’s work I’m wearing: a casual black T-shirt from my friend’s wardrobe, a distressed black denim skirt (€8 on sale) from Zara in Athlone Towncentre and a fitted blazer from River Island (also available from Athlone Towncentre). It has lovely button detail at the elbows. See here.
T-shirt: River Island ( borrowed)
Skirt: Zara (on sale at ATC)
Bag: Kate Spade (now available at Brown Thomas)
He takes the most flattering photos of me!
So there you have it – a casual summer’s evening look. I had been wearing the top half all day, but with DIY knee length Levi’s shorts and New Balance runners. This was a bit more edgy for evening time.
As you can imagine, I love blogging for Athlone Towncentre as I can keep up-to-date with the latest in shops like Zara, H&M, Topshop, New Look, M&S and many more that we don’t have in Sligo. It’s only a short trip away and it’s really worth it for a day out with friends or family.
Thanks for reading. We hope to see you visiting Sligo soon.
