After a flying visit to Galway for a special family celebration it was straight back to work. I did however manage to fit in an insightful trip to the beach on my lunch break where I had the privilege of hanging out with Jodi Albert. What a beauty! I, on the other hand was a total wreck from all my driving around the country, but she held my attention the entire time. Jodi arrived fashionably late, doused in the sweet aroma of Marc Jacob’s Decadent and beaming with excitement about her new venture. Here’s a little teaser…As you may have heard she is opening her very own store in Sligo this November. We really need it! The response has been overwhelmingly positive for Jodi’s Boutique. She can’t wait to bring a little bit of London chic and sparkle to the west coast of Ireland. You can expect affordable fashion, beautiful evening gowns for Christmas and New Year’s Eve and styling tips for mums on the run.
We talked beauty secrets, personal style, previous endeavours, that romantic scene in the jungle and family life. Jodi has had a difficult year, which has brought a roller coaster of emotions what with the loss of her beloved mother and the birth of Zekey. She endearingly refers to Koa and Zekey as ‘our lucky charms.’I really can’t wait for you to read our interview in Sligo Now Magazine (November issue). I get up close and personal: we talk romance, life before Kian, reveal Jodi’s top styling tips and favourite beauty products and of course much much more about what to expect from Jodi’s Boutique.
We were playing around with snapchat at lunch – both trying to get our heads around it! If you’d like a little peek at the process follow Jodi on snapchat: @jodisboutique or keep up to date on Instagram and Twitter. Here’s wishing Jodi all the best in the coming weeks!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more.
